Credentialing – the council has been a major supporter of IFMA’s credentialing initiatives – particularly the “Certified Facility Manager” (CFM) and “Sustainable Facility Professional” (SFP) designations. It has organized study groups for both the CFM and SFP exams that its members have been invited to participate in. The LIC has also off-set some of the cost of taking these exams for those members who participate in the study sessions and end up achieving the designations.
